These portraits were shot on Kodak Tri-X black-and-white film and Kodak E100 slide film on Leica M7 rangefinder camera while in various parts of India. I was often in construction sites expanding an ongoing project “Women In Construction”, so many of these subjects were photographed in or around construction.
